What is Destination 22>6?

The bible tells us in Proverbs Chapter 22 Verse 6 "Train a child in the way he should go.  When he is old, he will not turn away from it."  Our goal is to assist you in training your children, so that their destination is a true, abiding relationship with their creator.

How can I know my child is safe?

Our security team maintains a secure environment for the children to discover God.  They are friendly, but make no mistake about it, they are serious about safety, incorporating better and more innovative ideas throughout the year.  This is one of the most significant ways we ensure the safety of our children.  For added protection, our volunteers are carefully screened as well as being cleared through a background check using a national database.

How do I register my child for his/her class?

Your First Visit: Upon your first visit to Destination 22>6, you will bring your family to the First Time Families Station, located in the church foyer.  You will need to share some necessary information that connects you to you child.  After gathering this information, a member of our Check-In Team will assign your child to a class and make Security Tags for your family.  The Security Tag contains a three digit pager number, used to notify you during the service if you are needed for any reason.  Please stick the tag with your child's name on it onto his/her clothing and keep the corresponding Security Tag to present when you pick up your child.  This process enables us to make sure every child goes home with the adult they belong to.  If you lose your Security Tag, please see a Destination 22>6 Volunteer for assistance.

Each Visit After Your First Visit: On a typical Sunday morning, you will bring your child(ren) to the Check-In Station, located near the rear entrance to the main building.  You will be greeted by a member of our Check-In Team, who will ask for the last 4 digits of your phone number.  This enables us to pull up your family's information and print current Security Tags.  Once you have Security Tags, you can take your child to his/her class!  We appreciate your patience during check-in and check-out each weekend.

Who can volunteer?

If you are interested in making a difference supporting families and children, you should consider volunteering.  Most of our volunteers contribute two Sundays per month, during one service only.  This means each child has a team of teachers to care for them, instead of one over-extended individual.  We also know that not everyone was built to be a teacher.  There are a variety of different places to contribute and, no matter what your personal strengths and spiritual gifts are, we can find a perfect fit for you.
